At Meta I designed, built and collaborated with Technical Artists to make prototypes for pitching and testing new features for the SparkAR platform. Unfortunately, many are still under NDA but here are a few highlights I can share.

This was one of my favorite projects to work on. The brief was to make a fun augment to show the weather. After many failed rounds of revisions, my final sketch was a bird flying through clouds. The director team loved the storytelling in the prototype! So I was able to move forward with the art director, Robert Modini to establish the look in 3D. I made multiple animation states of the bird flying through different weather conditions to reflect the user's current weather forecast. It was received so well that it was featured in Connect 23'.
I collaborated with a Technical Artist to create multiple templates to protype new features as well as demo features for new users of Spark AR.
Firework: Use the timeline editor to sequence complex animations.
Object Reveal: Make an object appear with screen interactions.
3D Animated Card: A target tracking effect to appear on a 3D object when camera detects specific card image.
